Still can't submit URL 143 days after commencing my membership

This thread originally started as a W3C question and became this, thanks to a overzealous 'anti-spam' policy...

I came to the forum, logged in, and was immediately asked to submit a new password as my account was 143 days old.

Still can't post URL....

Dear hosts - you've had 143 days to get to know me. PS - I'm not a spammer.

Revoke my membership - I really don't care. If I can't ask a simple question and post a url it's useless to me.

Account age doesnt matter on this forum.

You only have 5 post.
 
Pretty sure you need to have 100+ posts before you can post links.

Thanks for the responses.

It says (and I quote)... 'You are NOT allowed to post URLs, email addresses and images, until after you have been a member of BHW for a little longer.'

In the context of spamming, the fact that I have not spammed in 143 days of membership highlights my point.

Thanks kaylanewett for your help. I'm having W3C problems and wanted to link the W3C report and website url in question. I had some specific questions and was hoping to gain a bit of insight.

Going elsewhere to see what I can find. If I can't post a url 143 days after starting my membership I'm left pondering what this website can really offer.
 
Have you tried contacting a mod yet? They might give you the privilege to post urls without having a 100 posts. I remember 1 thread where a mod lifted limits on someone who wanted to PM without 15 posts. If you don't know who any mods are, I can link you to some.

have you bothered tp read the rules in any of those 143 days

You need to have 15 posts before you can use urls

plus if you wanted to write an url you can put domain dot com
we are retty smart here
we would be ablw to figure it out
 
Good riddance. The less noobs the better. Only coming here when they want something, providing no value to the community, crying like a 4 year old when they don't get what they want. Negged -11
