Still can't post links...?

I just tried to start a thread where I ask a question about another thread on BHW and link to it for further clarification.

I got this -- "You are NOT allowed to post URLs, email addresses and images, until after you have been a member of BHW for a little longer."

I've been a member of BHW for five years. What gives? How much longer is a little longer? Another five years ?

u have 6 posts in 2009 - 6 in 2010 - 1 in 2011 - 6 in 2013 - 2 in 2014

the system is there for a reason, links are only allowed over a certain post
count 50 i think. might be more.. but bhw appreciates your complaint
of 20 posts in 5 and a half yrs and why cant i do this and that. please come again

When you can remove your "Newbie" Status then you can post link. You hv to post quality post to remove the "Newbie". It will take lots of time to remove your newbie status for you as your post train :

There is another grate option Just Buy the DONOR status. Then you can post link.

Get over yourself, you supercilious moron. The message that comes up is "until after you have been a member of BHW for a little longer," not "until you have more posts." If it's a question of more posts required, fine, whatever, that's BHW's decision and I understand it. I was just surprised by that message which seemed to indicate that I had to be a member for even longer than the five years I've been here before I can post. If that wasn't clear to you, maybe you should brush up on your reading skills before opening your mouth.

Okay, thanks, k.h. I was just confused about it saying a little longer instead of more posts or until you've moved beyond newbie status. It's a bit strangely worded in that case. But as I said to the brain surgeon above, I understand their thinking.

listen up newbie, the status of your account clearly indicates little activity
yet you complain that the things u wish to do are limited .
perhaps had u read the FORUMS rules - the answers you seek where
already there. ps - going round insulting members is not the way to go
and can result in a swift exit......
