Sticker Method (untested)

Wow one of the most inspiring thread, don't know how to spell that word :p
But thought of sooo many ideas, already got about 5 in my head with will be spinned/twisted and combined to take the max out..

Gonna try this at school :).. set up a little porn site, and let's see how many college boys go to the site. (put a little sticker in the mens bathroom :D)

Testing, testing, testing :p.. maby I put in some nice offers if it works with porn though.

Nice idea, lets add a BlackHat twist:

Post up stickers at ATM's promoting a domain with the name of the bank in it.
E.g.
Make Money Online With Citibank
CitibankCash.com

Link to a Biz Op CPA Offer ($35 payout for $1 free trial)

Obviously there'll be some legal issues there. SO make sure you have private whois, and chances are it'll convert like crazy.

Cheers

Test, test, test. I would say: "Try it out!" then you'll see if it is converting like cazy :p

Go to business centres and promote your site development service or SEO service (if they already have a site), you'll bank in a lot ;)

@three3s
I was thinking of doing some offline promotion of CPA products; dating offers, weight loss, make money online etc.

You are really welcome Three3s. Your idea has a potential, but you have to twist it a little bit.

Don't go a cheap way. To get money you have to invest money. This is the only WH way to make some green. I would suggest getting a professional made Yard signs. Find a local (cheap) print shop and tell them that you need 50+ yard signs along with the holders.

There is one important thing. Make this yard signs stick for as long as possible. You have to figure out on your own what is the best place for the yard signs might be.

Good luck mate.

Wow, thanks for all the responses and good input from all you guys. I'm definitely going to try this now!

Ok guys I've sort of fell at the first hurdle with this a little. I've emailed 3 of my netwroks asking about doing offline promotion and they ahve said they don't allow it.

Can anyone who has done this in the past and knows CPA networks that allow this sort of promotion let me know which ones. Preferrably well known networks with lots of offers in the biz opp/dating/health/credit card niches.

Thanks.

Can nobody tell me what companies allow offline advertising? So far all my networks have said they don't allow it (7 of them).

I've been REAL interested in offline marketing. I really want to do it now...

But about the bumper sticker idea, it's a good idea but if I were to do that I would use magnetic stickers. That way no vandal problems but a nice magnet that someone might just throw up on their fridge if they actually see it. It can get expensive, yes. But I know there would have to be money in it.

Also a while back I was thinking of using stickers on gas station pumps for free gas, great place because people stand there pumping gas looking at the meter.

I wanted to add something I saw while I was in another city. I had to use the restroom, so while I was sitting there, on the tiles between my feet, somebody had written in marker, a website and a little phrase "Looking for a good time", I didn't remember the website, but that's just a thought. We just gotta think "Where would someone be forced to look at something, for a period of time", such as bathrooms, waiting lines, stop signs, you know.

I have an idea.
Get affiliate link urls and shorten them through bit.ly or any similar websites which allow you to track clicks or pag visits (bitly does both). Print these out and cut them into strips.
Say for example you are promoting a hot book release and it is cheaper on amazon than in a book store. You could go into a major high street book store (they make lots of sales everyday) and place the pieces of paper with your affiliate link in as many books as you can. Understand? [Obviously taking all necessary precautions not to get busted by a goody-two-shoes customer]
You could then track the amount of people who used the url!
In fairness I dont see why this wouldnt work. the book stores are obviously making sales cos they are still open after ten years of websites like amazon being on the scene!? and I couldnt see why people wouldnt just return the book and purchase the item through your aff link?
What do ye think?
Fuck it, its saturday tomorrow, big shopping day! Gonna try this out and let ye know what happens, on Monday!

Obviously this could be done for anything use your imagination...

your right bro they dont allow offline marketing anymore.. I think only CJ allow offline

Not all networks would have a problem with you are doing - provided you do NOT slice (iframe) the offer. Redirect your domain directly to the merchant's landing page.

I don't know why you'd risk iframing anyway. Buy the stickers, do all the work putting them up, then have your account banned?

Straight to the offer should not give you any problems.

You guys keep doing this. It means less competition 4 me online :)
