I pulled up to pay for my Mc D's and I came up with this method.

I saw a locksmith sticker stuck below the window. I asked about it, and no one even knew it was there. It has been weeks since I pointed it out and it's still there. Seems like the stickers would stay there for a while. I have seen them at many locations also...

Step 1: Buy a domain and redirect it to an affiliate offer, try to find something that relates. eg. Mc Donalds email submit, weight loss offers, etc...

Step 2: Have a bunch of stickers made with some benefits and your url.

Step 3: Get to sticking. Put them on all fast food pay/food pickup windows you find. Don't just stick to Mc D's, go big...

Like I said this is untested. The stickers will cost some money, but should work well. Plus your sticker will be viewed for about 30 seconds to a few minutes.

I found some offers with neverblue related to mcd's and one that deals with mcd's and burger king. Stick them at both stores with that offer.

The stickers and domain would be your only fees...

Good Luck

I've done it. Also ATM's are good. Just make sure you have domain privacy turned on so they cant track you down.

My friend used to do this with business cards, laying them around everywhere he went.
He said more than half of the people that called the store line said they found a business card and were interested lol.

Wow seems like it would be great. Must haves would be whois protection and a simple / easy to remember domain so they dont forget by the time they get to the computer :)

Stoners and their McDonalds....

kidding of course...I gotta have those fuckin mcnuggets when I get baked. It's like survival. Haha.

Good idea...I like the idea of using ATMs...people taking money out of the machine and goin...DAMN, i wish my balance was just a bit higher....

Nice method, thanks.

Seriously, who want's to cook when they're high?

Oh yeah, i don't like the word stoner... Call me a smoker of fine herbals... lol

Thanks for the idea, Swinter.

We have done a lot of different offline marketing methods in the past and let me tell you about this one. You have to expect a lot of phone calls. Most of them from the local authorities and property owners. What they say is that you have two hours (might be more, if you lucky) to remove all your shit. This method is totally Black Hat.:D

We had few sales, but then we spent several hours to clean the things up. :( The Yard signs work the same way, but easy to remove, if you have to.

You decide. But yes, this method should work.

Good luck.

I can vouch for this

it's offline which makes it a bit more work but the ROI is beautiful

I would slice up a $5 email/zip submit and put

"Get a Free $20 Gift Card for Participating"

:)

I get my stickers made at sticker junkie

i remember as a kid seeing what looked like dollar bills on the ground, only to pick them up and discover an ad of some sort. This isnt much different. Ask any graffiti writer, stickering = recognition. I know this because i am one (http://gone84.com) . Anyway, if you do this, make sure it can't get back to you in any way. The cops won't hesitate to attempt contact with your affiliates who will likely just turn you right over to them.

just my 2cents.

The only problem is you'll get SUPER FAT doing this method lol :) I bet a weight loss offer on those stickers would do VERY well. :)

I'm totally agree with you, Blackmagiquellc.

Offline marketing is definitely has more work to do, but yes, the ROI is great. If you know how setup you campaign right and what method to use, you will be golden.

There are dozens of offline methods, but only one can bring you shipload of money.

Lol i just went to jack in the box and guess what i saw? Guess one of you is hitting up LA spots already ;)

Stickers? Sounds expensive. What about black and white printouts, on A4 Paper, and some tape?

You could try labels if you want to go cheap.

Yeah like mailing labels are fairly cheap. Return addy labels. I used this method several years ago for MLM leads. And yes I did have to go clean up a grocery store parking lot. Got home and after a rain and about an hour got the call from security. Was all over the place. I put flyers on the cars and a large number of them were tossed on the ground by the auto owners and left for me to pick up.
But I do agree off line marketing does work, if it didn't you wouldnt see billboards and ads giving urls instead of phone numbers.

Haha. I wouldn't have let people catch me to be able to call and have me go clean that shit up.

For those living in the US, you can sign up for a UPS account and get free mailing labels of all different sizes.

Set your printer up and print away!

ATMs would be a nice spot - Either direct to a credit score offer or a site with your referral link such as CashCrate or something.

Is it illegal to put these stickers on ATM's? I was considering this, but aren't ATM's suited with surveillance cameras? Would I be "defacing" government property? What about putting them on stop-signs? Road signs? Doors to businesses? Anything really.

Just don't get caught :) plus, b creative with where you stick these, they can pretty much go anywhere, so just work out some hightraffic spots and hire a little team of minions if you're worried about the legality.

this is actually a great method.

here in vegas i know of this guy whos whole business model revolves around placing these damn white on black stickers all over every stop light and fast food joint in town. he's branded himself well. his goes to a phone number which is super easy to remember: 248-TINT pretty obvious what its for.

maybe a local phone number that has a voicemail pitching the domain would be something to consider. there's only so much room you have on a sticker to place a pitch and a domain. perhaps something like 240-LAID and a pitch for an adult encounter offer. i think phone numbers work great as everyone always has their phone with them and can call. rather than write down a domain and remember to visit it later when they get home.
