I tried to pay my dentist with value and meaning once. He looked at me like i was an alien before he kicked me of his office.
Next time i went in with money, and i gots them big smiles.

When i was younger i sold my business for a decent sum, enough to retire.
Without work, but plenty of $ i pretty much went off the rails.
Now i have a life / work balance both parts give me purpose.
