    Hello!

I found these tips very useful and thus sharing here. Hope you enjoy it.

    1. Don't be a perfectionist.
Don't struggle to get each sentence and word right. Just write, and when it's all finished, then go back and edit. Don?t
spend too much time on the first draft.

    2. Writing badly is better then not writing at all.
If you just sit down and write, it will come. Whether it's in a dribble or a flood, it will come. You can set a daily goal for
a minimum amount of words to write. Don't edit yourself.

    3. Don?t plan too much.
Later ? when you're finished ? you can go back and reread (and trust me, you have to go back a lot) and only then
start editing, rewriting and sometimes stripping away large chunks that you may have fallen in love with.

    4. Change your mindset.
Start at the end of the story, not the beginning. Work backwards, or start in the middle on something easy. The first
chapter is the hardest you'll do, so leave it until later.

    5. Turn off your inner editor.
Just get the words out, no matter how terrible you feel they are. It's easier to revise bad writing than a blank page.

    6. Make your writing come from the heart.
Write about what you really like and enjoy.

    7. Move forward in the story everyday
Don't go back and revise anything until you've completed the first draft

    8. Don?t wait for the perfect time to write.

There?ll never be a perfect time.

    9. When time is short, write short pieces

    10. Do the writing alone but don't be a loner.
Find support with family, friends, and even strangers. Join a group of local writers.

    11. Don't sleep? sorry, just kidding :)

    12. Don?t keep putting it off. Never give up. Never.

Please share your tips on overcoming procrastination.

Great tips! Honestly, I think the more you write, the better you'll get.

Reading is very important too. There's a reason why Stephen King recommends reading for four hours per day, as much time as he recommends writing.

Although writing articles isn't fiction, I think the advice still holds true. If you're working on lots of different subjects for many different clients, it's hard to read for knowledge in your subjects. However, reading other articles on popular subjects can held you generate new ideas and observe writing styles you wouldn't have seen otherwise. Follow a few popular review blogs, or read the top consumer articles on Yahoo Finance each day.

A couple years ago, it was hard for me to write even 2K in an entire day. Now, I can easily do 5-10K days with only one or two days per week off. I've moved on from articles and into ebooks, but pumping out lots of articles and reading helped me lose my writer's block.

Exercise works wonders for writing. Got writer's block? Go for a run, hit the treadmill, whatever, the ideas will flow as the bloods flows.

Yes running is the best, it gets blood pumping to your brain like nothing else. Jobs that usually take you 2 hour to do will last you 1. Everything is better after you run, sex, food, thinking, etc. Running is the worlds best kept secret. As a matter, I think i am going to go run right now.
