I signed up to this guy's mailing list so I could get these videos and just haven't had time to sit and watch them. One of his readers challenged him to build a profitable website, live and in real time.

Here's what he has to say about it...

Question:

How do you watch something like that behind a proxy? I have tried several with no success.

I have also had problems downloading large video files behind proxies as well. Any suggestions?

oh this videos are done by derek ghel... definitely will be a good videos... are these videos for sale or given out freely? I can put it on my blog for my readers if its good quality stuff...

Try this Firefox plugin. It captures streaming videos. Use it with the links in the first post in this thread.

I have read a great deal about analyzing keywords and niches, but this is the first time I have seen analyzing competition defined so objectively. When analyzing a possible niche, Ghel recommends doing Google searches of keywords, looking at the first page (or more) of SERPS, then placing each site into the following categories:

Free competition: Sites that offer the information or product you want to sell for free and compete for the same keyword.

Direct competition: Sites that sell what you want to sell and compete for the same keyword.

Indirect competition: Sites that sell other products or information than what you want to sell, but compete for the same keyword. (He mentioned that these are good possibilities for later jv partners.)

He mentioned a 4th category, but did not state what it was. I imagine is was sites that were spam or not competitors at all.

I like this standard very much and I intend to use it in my own keyword research.

^ Reading comprehension at its finest. I didn't ask how to turn it off, I asked how to find a proxy that will allow me to watch or download large files (video streams).

That is the kind of selfish freaking attitude that gets links removed.

Orbit is free and also captures streaming videos.
Just tried it and worked.
 
Episodes 3 and 4 wont download. Were you able to get them?
