Step by Step Guide for Submitting a Reconsideration Request

Just wrote this up for a friend in need so figured I would share it for the BHW community: Go to: http://www.google.com/webmasters/Sign in with your Gmail or associated account that you would like for the website to be associated with.Than go to verify websiteInput yourdeindexedwebsite.org/com/netIt will ask you to put a code on your siteGo to HTML Tag (easiest way to verify in my opinion) or you can use a login to your hosting account but it bugs out on me most of the time1. Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site's home page. It should go in the section, before the first section.(they will supply you with a unique code)go to editor on your website WP-ADMIN site(if a joomla or other cms based site than use FTP access to add the code on the homepage) and input the code in the section (use Control F to find the section if confused.Save websiteGo back to webmasters click verifyThan go to: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration?hl=enThan on the drop down choose your site and than fill out the form and check the boxes with the reason why site should be reindexedClick submit and wait 1-6 daysAll of your recent page rank and pages should come back.**Note make sure to delete any unnatural links on the webpages and check to make sure your content is not duplicated using copyscape.com
