Steal Your Competitors Affiliates!

Hi all,

I'm doing something right now and I figured I'd share my method with other vendors.

This method is for product owners that need more affiliates.
This method will work with:
Clickbank
Paydotcom
CJ
But in my example I'll use clickbank

Seems affiliate Elite is $4.95 for the first 30 days then $39.95 monthly.

So here's what clickbank vendors should do:

1) Learn how to use the software by watching their videos:
Select module 4 (find super affiliates) from the drop down menu and watch all 3 videos.

(They also have a forum where they discuss the software but I'm not linking to it as it's against forum rules here.)

2) Make a list of all your top competitors clickbank ID's in the clickbank marketplace. Do this for all your niches if you have products in more than 1 niche.

3) Go to :

Order affiliate elite and use it right away.

4) Use the software to find all the affiliates that are currently promoting your competitors products. Save all their emails, websites and other contact detail to a text file. Seperate by vendor or niche.

5) Now that you got ALL the info you'll ever need from the software simply ask for a refund, so they don't bill you monthly and so you get your 5 bucks back.

6) Send a prewritten but somewhat personalized email to all these affiliates and invite them to promote your product.
(personalize by replacing the URL within the email message)

The software seems worth paying for but not on a monthly basis. If it was a one time $40 I'd buy it right away. But not now as it's recurring.

So buy it use the software to find all the affiliates of your competitors and then return it

thanks for the informative post. I am digging into product creation and the information might come in handy. I also see that you have got a dating product going on this forum.

I have one question though. Can you name some networks that do not require any statup cost. I am also thinking of going with an instant payment process as some wordpress plugins allows you to do so. Do you think it would be advisable?

No idea what the instant payment thingy is.

But as for the startup cost it's very low and I suggest you go with clickbank for digital products, as affiliates tend to trust clickbank more than other networks.

So what you all think?

I am doing this method right now, not done yet and it will take a few weeks for the affiliates to read all the emails I send out and some time for the webmasters to switch over to my affiliate program and put up promotional material.

It's very logical and simple. You email the affiliates of your competitors and thus get more targetted traffic when these people become your affiliates instead.

So if you have a better sales copy and a better offer than your competitor and you email 100 affiliate sites you might get a minimum of 10 affiliates to promote you, since your offer looks better.

This equals to sales.

It's a method to get affiliates in the most effective way possible and this means more sales. I think there's a missunderstanding here as my method is very simple and logical and works 100% as long as your offer is better than your competitors.

So anyone got suggestions on how to send an email to 100+ recievers at once? Some software perhaps? (this is not spam, it's business proposal emails

You can use service like aweber or getresponse.

mailchimp will do it for free (up to 1000 people)

Thanks guys, sounds cool using a mailing program or service will make the process faster.

Would look like spam if it was forwarded to many using gmail or yahoo.

No problem glad you liked it!

Just remember you need to put the work in to see some great results.

The key is to have a website that really stands out and is much better than your competitors. As to give the affiliates a good reason to switch to your affiliate program.

As for saturation I don't think this will get saturated as there are many niches and this does take WORK which most are too lazy to do

Tell us how

The bot you are talking about would have to go to each affiliate sites WHOIS info and grab emails, sometimes you need to do some manual work to get the whois captcha etc if the domain is through godaddy etc.

I don't think this can be automated so much as the contact details can be tricky on many sites.

Please share any tricks you might have, maybe we can improve on this even further.

if you share your strategy, it would do all us some good. Otherwise you shouldn't have mentioned it in the first place

Thats a very sweet idea, as videos are the way to go lately.

But how would you find so many different videos targetting specific niches/vendors?

Another idea is to contact affiliates on EzineArticles and ArticlesBase.
