How much maximum would be safe to receive at once without triggering PayPal's suspicion, if I have a fully verified (CC + Bank Account) PayPal Account?

I've got this hot niche idea on eBay...

It's honestly hard to say with Paypal. Too much too fast will lock the account mostly because Paypal wants a cut and wants to use it for investing or some BS like that.

If at all possible, I'd strongly recommend straying away from using Paypal and try one of the safe alternatives like e-gold, Alertpay, SolidTrustPay or some other. (Safepay Solutions should be strayed away from as well.)

Maybe it's just me, I just highly distrust Paypal as a payment gateway and refuse to use them for anything other than operating scams.

Here's a tip, before you start receiving money in paypal (say if you launch a product)

Give paypal a ring and state that you are launching so and so, and you'l be fine, they want to hear you, there like cpa networks, treat them like you would your affiliate manager and you will be fine.

;)

I think the magic level is around the 10K USD mark as then they have to file some anti-money laundering note and allways ask you for a lotta documentation.

Best way is to periodically withdraw ever 1K or so into a safer medium of currency!

Why don't you just pick up the phone and ask them directly? Explain your a internet marketer, you have a new idea coming up and you just need to confirm Paypal will be happy to handle all of the payments, they want you to use their service, so they'll say yes, then they'll know your not getting sent $10,000's in stolen money and your really infact, making yourself and of course them, a nice sum of cash.

I like all your thinking...
I think I'm going to try out Paymate, though- anyone had any experience with them? Good? Bad?

But back to the PayPal stuff...I've heard you want to keep it below $500 per transaction? I know Athleted123 had a different case (AMAZING that you could receive $20k and not take a hit!), but I'm actually recently trying to emerge victorious from a hold PayPal put on a $1k transaction that was made into my account. Don't go talking about that on this thread- there's another thread for that already up.

I just have a new plan of attack (on my poverty, that is) and I just want to make sure that maybe $400 a transaction isn't too much all at once...for PayPal or any service.

...ok?

Nixing the PayMate route. Turns out they're a bunch of stuffed shirts. So, fuck that.

What's the best option for eBay selling?

I have been taking in $297 a month subscription payments (outsourcing) from as many as 40 a month - spread through out the month for over a year. Sometimes single transactions - (people paying late) of $1500. No issues so far. (Would kill us if they did.) I never leave a large amount in the account and I do not use that account to deal with eBay. Take it for what it is worth.

My 2 cents,
I personally do about 2500-3000 a month off ebay and another 1500 a month from subscriptions and the only thing is they hold 10% for 30 days. Other than that I have never been limited or anything of that nature. As long as your on the up and up, they will provide decent service. Also giving them a call to let them know of a launch or a big sale that your doing always helps.
I did a launch of a product once and got flagged due to over normal amount of people trying to sign up. I called in and they said to just give them a call whenever you do a launch so they can expect to see a higher than normal transaction amount or volume of sales.

I'm building up my feedback with small, reasonably priced and legit stuff- not too much at a time, so...once I reach the 20 feedback mark, do you think I'd be able to start selling maybe 2, REAL but dropshipped $350 items a week (one for every 3.5 day time span, allowing time to list, receive money, and withdraw money from PayPal) and not get limited/suspended/banned? This is using a fresh account that isn't linked to any banned accounts by IP/email/bank account/etc.

What do you sell on ebay - if you don't mind me asking? If you don't wnat to share that info on this forum I fully understand.

PayPal frizzed my account, only I am getting paid from EPN monthly 4k. I have given all the information they have asked for. Pls let me know I will be safe from them

Hey dwpg - give them a call

They locked my account and asked for docs. I uploaded docs. Then I gave them a call and was lucky enough to get a great rep (plus I was really nice too).
She said she'd put my case on high priority so that they'd look into it and that I had given all the documentation required. Within two hours it was fixed, thankfully.

So give that a shot and good luck

Anyone have any insight?

No one's really answered as to how much they've received at once with what amount of feedback without being limited/having the payment held. So, let me rephrase: With a month-old ebay account with 100% positive feedback score of 20 and a fully verified PP with REAL info- could I receive $400 all at once for a non high-risk item sold through eBay without having a hold placed on either the money or the account?

I'd plan to receive the $400, use a portion of it to buy the item from my source (as I'm a reseller), provide tracking information, and then withdraw the remaining amount all before my next $400 transaction.

If they should place a limit on my account, I can get it unlimited, but that might take a couple of days, and I need the money sent for the item in order to actually send the buyer that item!

Let me know, someone, please?

i think $400 is okay. they stop holding your money for 20 days after you reach a certain amount of feedback with a 1-2 month old accnt. they will def release the $ once the buyer leaves feedback. i believe thats how pp works these days, they used to do sweeps and etc and just put a limit on your acct with no warning.

i've sold some high end items and no limits yet. it helps if you are fully verified with ss# and that way no limits on withdrawls. just work your way up with buying and selling. pp is really complicated if you're gona use their service, at least have another source of income as a backup.

i find that when you sell too many too fast they put a limit. my old account was frozen, i got my money back but the *bay account still limited after 2 years.

i got limited on my 1st transaction. it was only for 20$ it was easy to take off though jus photoshopped a utility bill.

huge received money - danger
fast money intake - danger
500 usd above per day - danger
