Staying relevant in the new AI boom

What steps can be taken to stay relevant as a SE in the fast paced and evolving AI environments?

Its essential for SEs to engage in ongoing updates. This includes taking online courses, attending workshops, and participating in industry conferences

Agreed , I also feel like the SE that knows to utilize AI to its fullest will never have to worry

Generally self-improvement, studying and problem-solving skills are the key. Learning how new frameworks and libraries work will benefit you in job market. Being able to solve difficult challenges in a concise manner will keep you relevant.

I don't see AI replacing the SE in the nearest 5-10 years but it's not a science fiction anymore but a matter of time.

In my opinion in software development you'll no longer need to have strong tech knowledge but a general understanding of how things work and the ability to come up with the solution and delegate it's implementation to AI.

It also change a lot of things in the way of expressing yourself. As you can (pretty much) turn your ideas into programs, you can also turn ideas into real images, videos without need to know so much how to draw & animate things.
I'm personally thinking of using it to create little histories for product advertising.
