They seem to be ripping people off since the change in ownership. Instead of paying .05 cents per click they are paying like .015 per click. I was getting a few hundred clicks a day a few days ago, and now none are registering.

I'm not the only person to see this happen to them either. Anyone else notice any shady shit going on?

Agreed -- since the change of ownership no one has been getting credit -- much less paid.

Stay away until things change -- and they may never change back to the original format.

Exactly, at this point in time I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully, they are just having issues with their system due to the change in ownership, and soon either fix it or revamp it.

I live by the concept of "burn me once -- shame on you. Burn me twice -- shame on me."

I'll give them a *very* short leash to make things work -- otherwise we'll all make sure they lose a ton of business.

Just the nature of business....

They sold to a friend of mine (sean) and you can contact him about it.

I suggest staying a way until things get settled though to be safe :)

Yes im seeing the same .. this is a bad way to do biz... everyone learn from this

The website is still down for me (Not others?) - I was planning on leaving it for a while and alllow the new owners to get everything set up and ready. :)

I just blaster 28 twitter accounts with probably 4000 or so followers together with ads, and the clicks were registering. I don't know how well the clicks are registering, but got credited with 39 clicks in the first minute of them being up.

EDIT: I'll compare it to similar ads i was running by myself yesterday when twtad was down and give my verdict on whether or not it's back and running.

Note on twtad front page...... IMPORTANT: You must abide by the TOS. Violation of the TOS will result in immediate deletion of your account. Below is an excerpt of the TOS. You should read the TOS if you haven't.
4. Publisher Account
(a) You can only post ads from twtAd to a real, valid account in a microblogging or blogging service or website. A real, valid account is one in which you carry out real social conversations, posting your ideas or views, or updating your status or news events to other users, collectively referred to as valid posts. An account containing mostly ads is not a real, valid account.
(b) There must be at least five valid posts between any two ads, from twtAd or any other advertisers. You will not post the same ad more than once in a 3-day time period.
(c) You can only post ads to a real, valid account using the Post Ad function within twtAd. You will not copy or alter the ads in any way, and will not post any ads from twtAd in any other place on the Internet and will not transmit any ads from twtAd by any other means, including, but not limited to, email and IM. (d) You will not click on an ad you post, and will not encourage, mislead, ask, trick or induce in any other manner, your followers or any other users to click on ads you post.
(e) You understand and accept that if twtAD determines in its sole discretion that you violate this TOS in any manner, your account will be immediately deleted without warning and you will not attempt to register for another account on twtAd. You understand and agree that when your account is deleted from twtAd for violation of this TOS, all your earnings will be forfeited.

(b) There must be at least five valid posts between any two ads, from twtAd or any other advertisers.

Also a new change is "Withdraw Your Earnings
You are able to withdraw your earnings whenever your balance available for withdrawal is $20.00 or more. Withdrawals are processed on Thursday and Friday of each week."

on a side note why did my rep go down?

Sites up I guess it could be teething problems, It takes time to learn a new site sometimes.

The front page says "Now serving 3,xxx,xxx twitter users".
Last week, i remember this as being 6xx,xxx
Am I losing my mind or is new ownership the death of this company?

it wouldn't even let me post ads a few days ago, told me i already posted 3 when i hadn't posted any.

it's not worth it at the moment I was getting a few clicks, and then nothing it seems like something is up or they are going to scam us, don't know I am still in the unsure faze at the moment I will keep watch on them and see what happens in the near future, but at present it's not worth the hassle.

No matter what the end result this transition of TwtAd has been poorly handled.

TwtAd will now have to face the negative results of poor management. These results will affect all aspects of their business.

As it has been said before -- wait until things smooth out -- or at least until it is stable again.

Yep there is no doubt they are skimming clicks. I didn't post any ads today, but i was still getting clicks, about 26 clicks today and only a payout of around 40 cents. That can't be right because i only posted ads that were worth 3-4 cents a click. I think hes taking money from people to pay affiliates.
