My user name there was "mightybotnyc mbnyc"

I got banned for infractions. I emailed there support team....

And i dont know if it was a female or male. But they stated you got banned cause we felt like it "No reason is being given"

I didnt do anything my business is legal in NYC.
I have full time designer working for me.

THis is really unfair" they are bull shitters"

Hey ,

Yeah they banned me by giving me 11 infractions for posting in a wrong category. That means 11 mods reported me. All in all i got around 59 red infractions for stuff like "Wrong category " and " Post with no value " and i'm now banned until feb 28th 2013 lol. And my posts were in the correct section as i asked a few people . But i use a VPN now so i made a new acc

FUCK DIGITAL POINT
 
Also, people who post there have notoriously bad personal hygene.
 
DP is half dead. I dont trust Mod there.
i asked i am confused in what category should i ask my question and they gave me infraction saying posted in wrong category. lol

i reported a bot id posting in my thread, mod did nothing. The bot was a bit intelligent, it was randomly picking up two-three words from the post and was replying with some basic info related to my post.
 
Dp is a place for cheap labour and also a lot of the so-called gurus sell rubish there. That is it.
 
ya dp sucks big time. All the advice they give just sucks. You can't talk about anything blackhat. If you ask for seo advice they say, "write unique content and submit to article directories"

The only real thing they got going for it is the fact that lots of people still visit it and the buy/sell/trade forum is good for buying and selling shit.

this forum 10,000x better. Plus the mods aren't douche bags.
 
at least dp back accounts after a couple of months

Well in fairness to the OP, the Shit List isn't exclusively for reporting scams and crooks found operating in BHW threads. That's the main focus of most threads reported here and an extremely important use of the Shit List, but it's also nice to get warnings about other businesses operating on the internet that we should stay away from as well.

Having said that though... come on DigitalDesigns, this hardly falls into a category that anyone needs to worry about. So what that they don't tell you why you got banned. It's probably just as common on any forum that you'll actually be given a good reason as it is that you'll be told "we just wanted to".

It's not like DP is held in a very high esteem on this forum in the first place. If you're using it to make some money then go set up a new account and start over. If not it isn't that big a deal. You've found a better community here at BHW anyway.

sorry to hear about that digitaldesigns. DP moderators are really strict. I've got several warning from them as well.

let's just be careful in posting. :) you're right life goes on. at least we're on BHW now.
 
so far i know, DP is a place where you can scam people easily :D
