I know this is an old post, but I wanted to comment about my experience with advertise.
The first thing you should know is that they are a network. All ad networks like these have low, mid and high quality traffic. The cheap stuff will get you volume, but not necessarily conversions. $.10 per click on debt consolidation is cheap. The trick is to monitor what works, opt-out of the sources that don't and raise your bids to get more of that quality traffic.
When I started with them, they had already separated their network into high quality and high volume traffic channels so there wasn't much more work to be done. But, I did monitor the traffic and was able to remove the sources that were weighing down my conversion rate. As of today, my conversion rates on their high quality traffic is 30% higher than I get with Google (less volume though).
Always remember: you get what you pay for.
I hope that helps.
