Stay anonymous

I need to send have a conversation with someone over SMS. I need to remain completely anonymous. I've heard of burner cellphones. But can I get one with a different phone number from my local area code?

Another dilemma. I need a business product to be delivered anonymously. Its fairly big and valuable. Any methods?!?

PS this isn't for something illegal. I just don't need anyone to know about the business services I purchase.

I don't really know about the sending process of your product. Are you sending the product across borders ?

Your phone number/cell phone can always be triangulated passively, so you are never 100% anonymous and SMS are stored by the mobile companies.

Now, if you are not doing something illegal to give the government or any other entity reason to trace you, you can always pay someone (let's say a college kid couple extra bucks) to get you a number.

If you need a number from a different state/city/country, get one on ebay or any other online service that offers one.
Any more specifics on the delivery? Is it digital or physical ?

AIM.com you can text cell phones. Just create an account using a VPN or proxy and you can text back and forth in real time with someone as much as you'd like.

It seems to me that there is not a huge problem about texting but how to deliver a product anonymously, that is a problem, especially if you don't wanna be bothered by cops
