If you're using the site search, click "more", then "Order By: Most Recent".

Also, short "lol" style replies are seen as spammy, and can result in a warning even on new threads. If you like a post but have nothing to add to the thread, the 'thanks' button is preferred to reduce clutter and avoid pointless bumping.

Point taken - sometimes older results do come up when searching on BHW, I have seen this myself.

However, no you know that its not cool bumping old inactive threads so hopefully you will be mindful of this going forward
