Can someone please fill me in on how you can make a see more link in a status update go to any URL you wish?

it's patched few days ago. Well at least for me

What you can do is create a fan page with the title "see more" then like that page with whatever account you are trying to post a link as a status update. Then you can make a post saying a few words then at the end tag the fan page @see more.
Install the static html tab on the fan page with a simple redirect to your link and set the tab as the default landing tab. bAM

What xzzxpimpxzzx said is correct.. but that idea was made to fool ur friends and there are several pages like this so it won't work unless you have a twist for that
