Status suggestion for BHW

OK I don't know how many people will agree with this but I thought I would suggest it anyway.

As we all know Blackhat world went down yesterday, now I had a lot of problems getting in to irc so I couldn't find out what was wrong and how long it was going to be down for, So I was thinking is there anyway we could have a status page or a blog or something that if people cannot get into blackhat they can go off and check the page to see if the site is down or not and then they can tell if it is them or not.
The other idea I had is on this page you could have the instructions and different ways you can access the chat as there is various ways to get to the chat, but if bhw is down you can't access the site to see how you get on to the chat.
just an idea.

You could also go try it on another computer. To be honest if your internet is down that is an obvious issue, if your computer is on the fritz you will know about it. If black hat world is down but every other website on the internet is working then you have your answer.

Your idea isn't a bad one just I don't think it is really needed for people that are meant to know teh intrenetz

I did have you on twitter you were one of the first people I followed when I joined twitter, but after 3 weeks you never followed back so I unfollowed you lol not in a bad way I meant to follow you again and forgot oops lol

Yes i mass unfollowed everyone as to not look like i was a spammer

Apparently I am following you again I must of added you again without realising it, I get to confused to many people lol, anyways thanks for the update harro, if you want a status page doing and you find you don't have the time, if you set it up, I would be willing to look after it for you, then if there is any problems you could message me on twitter or email me or something and I could update the page for you. Just an idea. Or you could ask one of the other admins or mods to see if they have the time to look after it for you. Or I could buy a domain etc set it up and then you could keep me updated and I will keep the page updated so as people can go and look and find out what is happening.
