Hey just wondering if it's possible to remove the posts function from wordpress so there's no post page and no rss feed function.

Cheers

afaik you can remove the feed via an option in wp-admin. Not sure, correct me if incorrect :P

Essentially you want to use wp super cache, its a wp plugin. Produces static pages for faster load times and lowered server resource usage. Afaik, you can disable posts and comments in wp-admin also.

What? Remove feed rss function? That helping you to get index faster dude!

Set home page to be any static page from the pages in your wp and you are done :D

Okay thanks for trying to help but obviously I already looked on google I'm not an idiot. My reasons are my own, I'm not making a blog, I'm making a website. If alph9 could go into more detail about where it is in the wp-admin that would be great because I can't find it.

There is a very user friendly option to pick any post or page in your settings to be displayed as a static main page. In addition with the theme editor you can really do anything you want to a WP site, just jump in and then Google each step as you go.

1.) make post
2.) disable comment
3.) remove rss/atom feed from header.pho
4.?????
5.)PROFIT???
