I want to put a static page as my homepage as I do not plan to update the main content of the site. I will only add additional posts in time.

    Under settings>reading

I need to choose Front Page- The page i want
    What about Post Page?

Do I need to setup another page called Blog and set the permalink to domain/blog and choose that as post page as mentioned here http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page or do i just leave it blank?
