Ok fellas..i know someone here knows the trick or A trick to get this done. I would like to incorporate an html lead capture page to the front page of my wordpress. I know that i am able to make a page then hit up settings and static point to that particular page.

To be more in detail.. The html page is built to capture leads (name, number, etc) of course it has a php form to go along with it. How do i get my html page to be the front page of my wordpress website??

Ive tried to iframe it in there..create a new template on my server..all kinds of thigs... Im slightly dizzy..any help is appreciated

Maybe you can make a submit form (there is a lot of plugin to do that) as a page, and make it as front page?
Other way, you can make a template (you can put php code there). After that, make an empty page using that template, set as front page, done.

    :)

Maybe a better question is why are you wanting to use an HTML page in your WP site? There are plenty of themes or plugins around that will let you create any kind of landing page you want. Then just set this page as the "static" front page of your site inside your blog settings.

hmmm generic submit forms (contact me forms) are kinda boring haha... i have something like the below type of opt in page.... (different niche of course).

Im just very accustomed to being able to load my html and be on my way. Any pointers on how to convert my html to php tp generate a template to use as the frontpage? or simply incorporate my opt in "front page" with the existing index..
