StatCounter reliable?

I just started using StatCounter due to many recos here at BHW.

The problem is, I'm not seeing their numbers jive with what I've got the Awstats on my hosting cpanel.

Anyone else noticed this?

yeah their numbers differ from my w3counter. statcountr is alot higher. thing is, the w3cntr takes forever to load so im pretty sure thats why its off. personally im happy with the numbers stat is giving me-- pretty high numbers.

problem with the free acct is that it only shows the last 500 entries... so if youve got alot of pages.. it records all of those leaving less entries available for -recent came from- and -recent keywords-.
other than that i have no problem with them.

how much of a difference are we talking about?
