So, I've used YouTube in the past and have grown my channels to significant levels (10k views each video) but I took a lengthy sabbatical and now I want to return.
I have a couple aged, low-subscriber channels. I want to reach more Americans. Do I have to use a proxy or can I just upload until they get popular?

You don't need to use a proxy, just optimize your videos.
