Starting with nothing. Any advices?

If youre starting off its probably best to start off with reading books on how to stay foicused or think and grow rich or whatever it is your lacking, start off building a good foundation yourself then start

Still learning, reading bhw, visiting some amazon affiliate niche websites to get an idea how it works etc...
Right now, i'm learning to use adwords to find a niche.

While i was trying to sleep, some niche ideas came up in my mind but i think it was bad ideas. The first one was watches but i think there's a lot of competition.
I thought about another niche but i'm not sure about this one. There are only a dozen of products on the amazon store, going from 1000€ to 10000€ but i'm pretty sure this product will be dropping in price and going to sale a lot in the next years (edit: just noticed it has a lot of competition...).

So, i'm still here. Looking for a good starting niche with a EDM available if possible (french EDM so it should be easier than an english one).

Oh, by the way i got a email from amazon confirming that the affiliate program is available in my country. Good thing! :)

Edit: now i'm just wondering if it's not a bad idea to make a french website instead of an english one. There are a lot of good and cheap services on bhw (ie: articles orders. French ones are expensive. ~15€ per 500 words article). I'm kinda lost.

Edit2: Adwords looks awesome but what do i have to do with all these keywords ideas? I'm watching a video about adwords right now. Maybe it will answer my question.

Here is a great idea and you will profit a lot of money with some work, keyword work. If you are going the amazon way, Halloween and Xmas are heading this way. Find a niche or a general nich. So instead of Casio watches that are white gold, go for all kinds Casio, Rolex white gold, global clocks, calculator kinds and go from there. If you do it right with research and a lot of niches built up , you will make a killing xx,xxx in a very short period of time. You can even start from $0 with a blogger account. Here is a good niche...Sony and Microsoft launched the XBox one and ps4 last year, I bet you they have some games coming out and they will sell like hotcakes and people will be looking for information on them..launch dates etc etc etc.

1. don't start very soon
2. give times to your self to decided what do you want to do
3. i suggest to you: after 1 week, start
4. in this one week search about any method.
5. lets your brain starts to work and think
6. after you choose your way.... again don't start!
7. sit and write your plan. 95% of online business never be successful. because they don't have any plan! i don't talk about your plan in your mind! i talk about your business plan on the paper!
8. calculate everything ;) search people done what do you want to do before. see what they did, learn from them
9. correct your plan with what did you learn from them
10. search everything about your plan to make sure you will be successful
11. don't think in one day you will be rich

Here i am again.

After reading a lot of articles, i noticed that a lot of people were saying we have to be passionnate about our subject, make good content/articles if we want to make a good website.
So, i got a new idea while i was trying to sleep.
Like a lot of people, i like my dog and i asked to myself "Why don't you make a website about your dog breed?".

I found a pretty decent domain name i think. Let's say if that breed was the poodle, the domain name would be myfirstpoodle (geez, not allowed to post url and the moderation system is doing his work lol).
What do you think about that?

Now, about keywords research... Well, i'm still learning and still struggling about that. I have no idea what i have to look for.
95% of the keywords have low/medium competition. Is that good?
For example, the keyword "poodle dog" have 3600 monthly searches, low competition and a 0.57€ (0.75$) CPC. Does it looks good?
I'm waiting for your advices about that.

I'm not gonna monetize it first. I just want to make decent content, earn some experience and i will think about the way to monetize it once it's done and online.

Thanks again everyone for your help. You guys are awesome !
Edit: 2 answers while i was typing this. Thanks for your help ;)

Dude, not trying to be discouraging or anything, but please make sure you do a lot of research before going in for Amazon Affiliation.
Your success with Amazon affiliation lies with your strategy on how you go about it.

If you are looking to create a website and auto-import and post Amazon products from certain niches without adding any content of your own, then good-luck getting any traffic.

You said you'd go ahead with "Poodle" niche. Are you passionate about that niche? So passionate that you are willing to write at least 3 500-word articles per week on your blog about specific "Poodle" products? If yes, then great, if no, don't do it. Always remember, success with Amazon affiliation for a new person is always going to take time, unless you have a readily available source of driving traffic to your affiliate site.

I know I may sound rude, but there are thousands, yes, thousands of Amazon affiliate sites out there. If you are not going to do anything unique, you are setting yourself for failure.

This is a tip for when you do start making money: do not get excited and spend all of your money. Invest 60% back into Internet marketing, keep 25% for yourself, and save about 15% for taxes.

As i said in my last reply, i want to create good content.
I'm not gonna build a website, copy-paste some contents, put my affiliate links everywhere and let it die when i'll see i make 0$.

Now, i just want to make a website with everything about that dog breed. I will not put any adsense or affiliate links at first. I will slowly build the traffic, see where it's going and monetize it after. I already have some ideas.
I know i'm not gonna get rich with this website but it's just an experiment, i have zero knowledge but as someone said, i have to take action and learn to get some experience. If that website is doing ok, maybe i will make another one and with that experience it will be a better website.

Right now, i just want some information about the domain name and the keyword statistics in my last reply (3600 monthly researchs, low competition and 0.75$ CPC). I don't know if it's good or not.
After that, i will have to buy a good wordpress theme i guess (already found some good ones).

About the money, don't worry. I'm not that kind of person. I'm not gonna spend all my money ;) But thanks for the tip.

That's good then! You wouldn't believe how many people get excited after getting some money and decide to spend it all on something they don't need.

If i make some money, i'll keep it and invest for another website or tools, etc...

Ok about the keywords, the main keyword has 165000 monthly researchs, low competition and 1.47$ CPC. I'm gonna use 4 other keywords with at least 2900 searches and low competition. Does it sounds good?
By the way, is it ok if i keep asking some questions in my thread here or is it better to ask in another part of the forum?

I started as middle-man. IM is in simple words : Traffic->Offer->Money. So think about it, browse trough some offers, and gain some general idea. Now ask yourself... where can you get traffic ? Where do your potentional customers hangout ? Instagram ? YouTube comments ? Facebook ? Google ? You are probably not able to build your own website yet, so take that out of your equation. You would also be suprised, by how much people are uneducated, but they own their websites. Find these people, and offer them money, that will be degraded by your margin aka revshare.

Just look for platforms, that could bring you traffic, and they are free. And just analyze them, look what you could promote, and promote it.

I hope i helped by a bit... i am still a newbie, but this is how i did it :) Also, learn from other people mistakes, rather than from your own. When i see people who are struggling now, i can see why. Ask yourself that question too.

When your starting off from nothing what you really need is the right mental state for attracting wealth. Once you have the correct mental state your brain will re-wire itself to attract the things that will bring you wealth and success. Although its up to you to find the tools to put you in the correct mental state.

If i were you, I would regard highly of these two advices
