never used amazon associates with CL but I would imagine they would ban you once they find your traffic source. then again who knows, like I said never used those together before but I do know most affiliate networks hate CL traffic

edit: im not making much with amazon associates but forgot to mention last year around this time I made $100.00 from them just by posting links to products on facebook fanpages.

i went in google trends and found popular smartphones which are selling good in my area, so i found a great one and got some mails in few hours from craiglist, i just reply them that the item was already sold, because i didn't use it and it was new, and i tell them where i had the discount and send them shorten amazon affiliate ulr, i had about 30 clicks but no conversion still, i'm still waiting, i won't give up for now

i'm still receiving mails, but many of them tell they don't want to pay via amazon, also one guy told me he'll add 100$ for shipping, i just need to tell him my paypal, i know this sounds like a nigerian scam lol, could i get out some money from these scammers? if i make a fake unverified paypal and get money via gift, how can i cashout? i know it sounds risky, but scam the scammer seem cool lol

Theres been times where I made $5k and $6k/mo with Amazon. Unfortunately, times have changed.

I will say this, if you follow the terms and conditions, you will have absolutely zero problems.

There are lots of people who are direct linking their affiliate link from websites they do not own such as craigslist and such. I asked Amazon what their rules were about this, and they said it was not allowed. You can only link from websites which you own. But I see many people doing it, so I am not sure if they enforce that rule or not.

maybe i cannot get conversion cause of emails i send, i just write an email telling item has already been sold, then i paste aff link in the mail and get people to click, so you say is better to redirect people to my blog where they can click to item link?

I monetize my personal blog and a few other sites I own with Amazon. I would be careful about spamming Craigslist, as it could get your account banned.

There isn't anything to replace Amazon, so I wouldn't do anything screwy with your account.

well I would forget CL and get into more legitimate uses for your Amazon Account

no point getting banned over a small amount of money - when it can turn into a long term income source.

    I agree!

Does Amazon care if you are building sites that are content light and mainly for sending people to Amazon sites? I have a few sites up now like that. It seems like that would only benefit them.

i think it's better to share links of offers from your blogs to redirect people to amazon using seo, or in social networks, not worth the risk via craiglist, full of scammers, but finally i think is better to have tried this method instead of doing nothing, next time will go better :) thanks again for your advices guys!

When signing up for your affiliate account with Amazon, did you not check off the "I will not post Amazon links on Craigslist" check box? I guess you aren't really posting the product directly on CL. Still, a fast way to get kicked off their program.
