Here’s the problem, as someone whose had quite a few porn sites over the years. You’re going to be competing with everyone else and chances are your content is not unique. So the only thing that separates you from pornhub is the website itself. Why would I visit your Wordpress site when I can visit an established site that has multiple resolutions of every video, a good layout, download options, maybe a messaging system, upload and conversions, etc. etc.
So you have to be damn good at making websites. You can use a CMS like Kernel Video Sharing or MechBunny to assist, but you gotta know your shit. A single VPS server that loads slowly ain’t gonna cut it. You gotta have multiple dedicated servers around the globe, serving up porn nice and fast, adapting to different devices, etc.
Yeah, 20 years ago it was easy. I started with a simple blogger.com site back in the day. All I did was post a new woman (not even nude, it was just a swimsuit) every morning and got revenue from the Google search bar I had on the site. People would, as I intended, set it as their homepage. These days people expect a whole lot more and you gotta give it to them if you want to make money.
As for DMCA, using wordpress (.org?) vs any other CMS has nothing to do with DMCA. That’s a hosting problem unless you’re talking about using wordpress.com (hosted) in which case I can confidently say you are way out of your league. You can certainly learn the stuff that’s needed, but there’s far easier ways to make a buck online if you’re not already a mega nerd.
