Starting up a Escort Directory from scratch

Hello Fellow community members.

As one of the possible solutions for the middle age crisis, i have decided to diversify my activities and try something new.
I have a strong background in SaaS and digital marketing, so I thought I would try starting an "Escort Directory / Classified ads"

I have incorporated a legal entity in a jurisdiction where this niche is legal , opened a bank account and merchant to monetize the business.
I have purchased a decent PHP class filed script, made some adjustments and custom modifications to comply with standards , laws and completion.

i would love to get some advises from anyone who has experience in this filed to help me identify pitfalls.

What is the best way how to attract agencies and individuals to post ads ?

Right now, we are trying to outreach by email and phone , agencies and individuals offering a free listing and a banner exchange for the start
and thinking of purchasing targeted traffic on exoclick.

but since there are not many listings in our directory, the response is quite low.

is it a good idea to scrape a few hundred listings from other agency / escort websites that don't have watermarks just to fill the directory until the real users signup?

any tips and ideas are welcome
 
Advertise on BHW
Juicy Ads is filled with escort websites selling placements there but Im not so sure if they are the best ones for you.

But there is a lot of biddibg from advertisers there since some escort websites seem to have an high Click trough rate.

You can draw some inspiration for traffic generation from websites there

I am doing escort from last 5 years. My experience is that you need to do some SEO by doing some content development yourself. Once your website is visible in the top 100 of many cities or Geos, other webmasters rush to create backlinks or citations on your website. Until you are in top 10 or 20, i don't think any real user will come to create a profile or ad. Because everyone wants traffic and reach.

You can create a sample content and run as many pages as you want by changing the name of the city. Look at big players like oklute, skokka, locanto, etc. I hope it will help, for sure.

Makes sense. Planning to scrape existings listings to increase the base. Figured SEO and content and get it ranking as well. Once there should help.
 
Ive been in this niche a long time. I was working myself and understand how escorts think.

You will really struggle to get escorts to pay £100 a month for crappy websites that are premade or even cheap wp ones that dont look good. The biggest sites out there are fully custom coded sites from scratch that cost £40,000. Only here escorts will want to join and will pay you that big money.

Sure you can create a cheap crappy site but it will never work in a big way. australia has the best sites, scarlet blue would have cost in the region of $70,000 to build there but they are pulling in well over $100,000 a month. escort and babes is a rare one but its been around so long and most top escorts wont advertise there.

escorts want high class professional sites as thats where they think of themselves. if you are not prepared to spend big money on a custom site i would nt even bother wasting your time.

i can also tell you escorts are EXTREMELY difficult to work with. if you think you can scrape content on to your site and then escorts will join you are badly wrong. Once you steal one pic or bit of content your named will be ruined all over twitter and between groups and you will be hated and they will never ever join..... You can never outreach email or text. they will report you to authorities for spam.

doing it right is sooo bloody hard

Are you sure about the cost of building an escort directory? Of course, if you hire programmers in a country like Australia, it might indeed that expensive. But there are plenty of qualified software developers in low-cost country that I'm sure would make a site like that for $10-20k. Or perhaps they have more complex functionality hidden in the member area? Still, $70k feels like a bit on the high side.
