Starting To Hate Fiverr

You're working for 5$ peanuts, and they dont want to pay for your work, lol. seems like a waste of time

I haven't had problems with buyers so far. I got steady orders but suddenly a week ago my orders stopped. Now when I see which gigs are ordered over and over again I do agree most of the fiverr buyers are noobs.

There are some proper "MUPPETS" on fiverr - What I do to avoid the madness is

1.Always offer some free if they leave you good feedback for example I say
"Thank you for buying this gig, if you leave this gig some good feedback I will give
you 30 extra backlinks for free"

2. If people inbox you more than one question about your gig before they purchase
you better RUN for your life because they will go thought your work with a fine
tooth comb and moan.

Great tip! I sometimes reply back to them "Thank you for your interest, because I only get $4.00 for my work here, I am unable to reply with a personal message for you. If you are wanting to buy, please understand I am an expert in my field, and I promise to deliver what I have listed in my description. If you do not trust me, please do not buy."

Then, if they choose to buy, they usually understand I am not going to put up with any of their bull. I straight up tell them, I am the expert, you trust me or you don't. If you were the expert, you wouldn't be buying from me.

I do ok on fiverr $500 + a month on average for the past 6 months.

I agree with a lot of what is being said here.

A few rules I live by on fiverr.

If they ask more than one question prior to the sale, they are not worth it and should be ignored.

Offer a refund if they are not satisfied, just saying you are willing to refund goes a long way and refunding is easier than dealing with the a$$ whipping of a douche customer.

Offer something free, any kind of free bonus makes most people happy. Most of them will never read your free bonuses so feel free to offer all the bonus ebooks etc you like.

Make sure you find a way to get your best customers away from fiverr ASAP. The sooner you do the more you can up sell them and get more $$$$

Only sell things you don't hate to deliver. I can't stress this enough if you hate doing the work to deliver for $4 - gaypal fees it's never going to be worth the beating you are putting yourself through. Just because it will sell doesn't mean you should sell it.

Hope this helps.

Apparently, nobody on Fiverr can read directions. Srsly.

I might just abandon my gig, even though Fiverr has -- by far -- more traffic that the other gig sites.

Fiverr has changed alot - a few months ago - I was getting between 3 - 10 orders a day - Now I am lucky if I get 10 a week - People are only buying from top rated sellers - normal people are struggling since they updated their system.

I tend to order from top ranked sellers, ( or people I get recommended ), it makes sense to me.

Seller A has done 900 jobs and has 99% pos feedback
Seller B offering same service has 4 jobs completed and 100% feedback

I know who I'd go with.

As for some of the fiverr clones sites, I have looked at some of these and most sellers have no feedback at all, so I avoid using them.

Of course they don't have feedbacks, if there's no one to give them any, which doesn't mean that they're any worse than fiverr sellers all the more because there's a huge overlap. It has been already said here quite a few times: fiverr clones are almost totally lack of buying traffic, it doesn't really matter which one we're talking about and such as they're a total waste of time or money if you pay a freelancer to list your gigs on a few.
Most people who say otherwise is having a clone and would like to promote it, so you'd better don't listen to them.

I'm doing very well on fiverr... for the last 3 months. 99% of my gigs go very smooth without problems. I do get that 1% WTF type of customer who just blows my mind.

Not to turn the table but Giftguru's MyCheapJobs.com is really good. I've been placing some gigs on his site :)

You should go to a fiverr clone, list your gig for more. You get better quality buyers instead of that $5 garbage

Some people are just plain stupid, and others are obviously looking for free services. Just the world we live in. Also, if anything all the fiverr clones are worse for protecting the people offering a service. Hopefully, fiverr figures out someway to make it so we are protected. Although paypal still sucks and that will never change.

Seems like a Catch-22 to me.

At Fiverr, you have to deal with morons who can't read, or scammers.
At Fiverr clones, you have to deal with........... Wait, there's no one there.

Lmao now I ran into an idiot seller. So it's not only the buyers. He promised to run campaigns on 3 SEO tools. Gave me a report with like 20 shitty forum profiles that link to someone else's sites with someone else's keywords.

Im sure some of you guys have had people ask for bulk discounts :p

I usually cut them a good deal but instead of hand write the articles I spend 10 minutes hand editing some spun content often with a nice introduction. It passes copyscape and eveything so it works well for MicroNiche / article submissions etc. I've never had one penny's worth of a complaint.
If you're looking for content that's higher quality than SEO content you shouldn't be on Fiverr period.

I tell ya, I don't get why people use Fiverr! I'm sure I'll get some hate here but selling on Fiverr to make $4 a pop and deal with people like that is pretty ridiculous.

I always recommend Fiverr clones as well since you can often make more money and not deal with assholes.

Examples:

http://www.getmyrank.com (SEO ONLY!)
http://www.uphype.com
http://www.gigbucks.com
http://www.tenbux.com

to name a few....

Assume you must just have launched theses sites yourself !!!

Fiverr is 100 times better than any of its clone....

No doubts that most of the buyers are dumb and no nothing abt SEO,backlinks etc...So you just need to keep them happy, like tell them you have "pinged" their site as a bonus and they will be happy like hell..

I have tried like 50+ fiverr backlinks and SEO providers and all of them but 3 or 4 sux

Before thinking customers are dumb, maybe you should think we are tired of deal with scammers and unmature people

Also I strongly recommend NOT to use fiverr clones, they are all full of FAKE and inactive gigs, trying to stuck your money in their system until you forget it

I tried a clone. The seller didn't fulfill the order or answer my email and I was stuck for days. To be fair the admin refunded my money back to me but I'd rather not waste time with them again.
