Starting To Hate Fiverr

Fiverr has changed alot - a few months ago - I was getting between 3 - 10 orders a day - Now I am lucky if I get 10 a week - People are only buying from top rated sellers - normal people are struggling since they updated their system.

When its comes to the SEO, fiverr sucks! other services are worth like testimony and video creation etc. But do not expect quality for just $5.

I'm always being asked what's a .rar file ? How lame is that...
How do I open it ? What does it do ? Is it from out of space ?

lol I love in the chat.txt where max claims support staff cannot cancel orders, biggest load of bullshit I've seen all day ;)

true story :) i also compress everything into .rar (the smallest file size you can get)
but you can always compress into .zip format, file will be bigger, but windows knows .zip by default, so you don't have to explain them how they can open it

Many customers on fiverr are bullies.

I have completed orders and have been given messages about needing to include more than what is agreed on else they would leave negative feedback. Some even order a gig then dictate what they want unrelated to the gig threatening negative feedback.

I have got to the point where I have a disclaimer in the gigs all stating I can offer a refund if I don't think we can work well together. I am refunding at least 1 in 5 orders before doing them cause certain bullies always keep reordering.

I don't see why people are so rude over $5 transactions.

i was wanting to start selling gigs on fiverr. from what reveiws i get, i think i should start with fiverr clones. great and informative thread

They think we're slaves lol. I'm no where near that level though. For me I think I've done 50 - 100 sales and got 5 or so people try that shit on me.

I'm doing about 15 orders a day at this point so I'm running into more of them. I'm almost at the point where I am going to contact my 10 best customers (which is 50% of the fiverr business) and then moving off fiverr completely because the daily process of dealing with morons is frustrating.

Sure the $60 a day is pretty good since it doesn't take me that long but wow the bullies are too much.

This has been an interesting thread because it's from the Seller's point of view. I really think some Seller's are just not competent and over-promise which causes a lot of cancelled orders.

I use Fiverr a lot for AMR blasts, backlinking, and having some slick videos made for cheap. I have never had to cancel an order myself but I had two Sellers cancel orders because they could not deliver on promises.

I ask a lot of questions before buying a gig now to make sure the Seller really can deliver on what they promise BEFORE I buy the gig. I look at comments/ratings. There are Sellers who inflate the good comments by using multiple comments and they don't even try to hide it. Stupid!

This method has worked well for me because I have found a couple of Sellers I now go to for repeat work. For me, it's outsourcing the jobs I won't do or can't do myself. It's a win-win.

There are lots of crummy Sellers as well as Buyers on Fiverr. Both sides need to use caution. In the end, a good Seller can get a nice client list for repeat business and an honest Buyer can find someone they can trust for more work.

It's true that $4 profit per job does not seem much money. But, remember, in some parts of the world the Seller would not be able to make as much money for similar work. Of course, if they belonged to BHW, they could learn how to make much more than that and would not need to sell themselves on Fiverr.

Money makes the world go-round and for some Fiverr OP's it makes their world much nicer.

I tell ya, I don't get why people use Fiverr! I'm sure I'll get some hate here but selling on Fiverr to make $4 a pop and deal with people like that is pretty ridiculous.

I always recommend Fiverr clones as well since you can often make more money and not deal with assholes.

Examples:

http://www.getmyrank.com (SEO ONLY!)
http://www.uphype.com
http://www.gigbucks.com
http://www.tenbux.com

to name a few....

Great list there upped my services on these babies too, any other good clones to add to the list?. Spreading the net is key to making the big bucks

Yeah, some people at Fiverr are too complaining. When they start to make me so many questions, I just close the order.

Fiverr is full of dumb fucks. You deliver 20 edu backlinks with a report of 100 or so checked and 22 there found, they ask why 90% of links the delivered list are not found? Lmao. Then on my on page optimization gig I help this guy through several paragraphs and he tells me to get to work spewing out a bunch of shit like how I need to write him a couple page report... pretty sure that was never in my description. Both times I had to give the buyer a refund... seems to be happening more and more.
I don't use that website at all, ppl think that for 5 bucks will get personal slave

everybody complains about the buyers, what about the sellers? alot of the sellers are garbage....you order expecting a job to be completed, next day you wake check your email and you get an order cancellation WTF? this has happened to me countless times. but i guess you do get what you pay for lol. crappy customer service.

Yeah same here !

I delivered 4 order for 1 guy to provide G+1 (50) for 4 scamming website.

On 1 website, he didn't even set up the button i was supposed to click on.

I deliver within a day 200. 1 week later Google removed 40% of his +1. 90 remaining over 150, he wrote the support and he got a full refund !!! A full one WTf !

ANd I was trying to negociate with him to give him another service for the lack of 40%.

He seemed to be ok until he got refunded ... Support didn't even dare to be objective in the situation, they told they nothing they can do about ....

Fiverr makes you work for peanuts when you got paid (14 days is very long and many thing can happens until then...)

Yeah there are people that are retards but there are also quality ones that you can find, depends of the gigs you sell

My trick is that I always give them a gift along with the delivered order. Sometimes the morons will not leave feedback right up to the last day as well, which can be some what annoying.
