Hi, I am attempting to start a twitter account aiming to build up a good following (obviously).

So, I feel like I have a good idea, and have been posting tweets regularly. I haven't yet tried any specific tricks other than following 500ish random people to get some attention back. I don't really like to do this but it is the quickest way that I know to get going.

I am just asking, what are the best methods for me to get started, get the ball rolling and speed up the slow start process to gaining followers. The account I have been working on is called GirlsWithFacts

    Thanks!

Hi I've been using twitter for a while now and I looked at you account, it looks like you are following 500+ but only have 80 followers this kinda need to be the reverse unless you want to follow back every follower you have which is what I do. The way to do this is first find your niche audience or who you will be selling a product to or trying to get traffic from, which is not very clear but looking at you account but hopefully you have some endgame in mind once you get enough followers.

Once you figure that out look for very popular accounts that have tens of thousands of followers each, don't bother following those account what you want to do is follow their followers. Start following 100 or more a day but stay under the radar. Personally my main account is a PVA but I still dont follow more than 100 per day.

Keep tweeting several time per day, interact by replying, re-twitting and fav your followers tweets.

Then start to unfollow people who dont follow you after about 3 to 5 days.

So basically I am following 100 people per day from popular accounts, then unfollowing 200 people per day who didnt follow me back after 3 days. Also I only follow people who are active, there is no since in following someone who hasnt sent a tweet in over a month, chances are they wont follow you back.

I use TweetAttacksPro 3 to do the following and unfollowing but manually tweet, reply, retweet and favorite.

Here's what I suggest, Follow 500 people in you niche like 10 a day for the first 5 days to avoid banning, then 20 a day after 5 days and Tweet as well daily. Then buy 500-1k fivver Followers, then continue following like 20-30 a day and tweet daily.

After that it all goes running without you following and just tweeting daily or if you can do it hourly by using hootsuite or any other 3rd party programs.
