Fun fact, OF wasn't originally intended for the adult industry. It was meant for bands, authors, comedians, and other creators. However, the 4 partners that started up OF didn't have a foot in the door in SFW content creation so they went with what they knew.

Anyways, there's been some interesting SFW of accounts over the years. Bernadette's is probably been my favorite. She spun up an account for a month to see if she could interest people into saucy victorian ankle pics. Lets just say, yes. Yes people were interested. BUT When she did this she either had just hit or was just over 1 million youtube subscribers. So she already had a fan base to send over.
The other problem with using OF instead of other platforms is the stigma that comes with it. Even though it was intended for mainstream, if you say you have an OF people instantly think porn. Totally get where you’re coming from.
OnlyFans is definitely known for adult content, but that’s not all it’s about. There are creators on there who do fitness, cooking, advice, storytelling, and just genuine connection-based content it’s just less common, so it takes a bit more effort to stand out.
