Starting off for SEO?

Hey Everybody!


I am new here.I see a lot information available over here but I really don't know where to start off.

I am familiar with different terms such as DA,PA,Bounce Rate,ON page SEO ( It has to do with overall unique content and a good structure of the page if I am not wrong),Negative SEO .

But I am not quite aware that how to do OFF page SEO. I am not familiar with any kind of SEO tools.

Can anyone suggest me where to start off so that I can work on that?

Read around the forum about the different types of backlinks, as for tools most powerful one is Ahrefs, you can see what links your competitor has and what they're ranking for.

Can you recommend where to start off with OFF PAGE SEO,I want things to be brief.

You are talking about backlinks mainly, look at the various linkbuilding thread here and see whats on offer. You will know what comes under this category.

Backlinks are what you are looking for definitely. You can try checking out the threads here on BHW regarding linkbuilding. If you are still having a difficult time understanding them, you can always watch YouTube tutorials

If you are already aware of the metrics, you can use those as a vetting benchmark when building backlinks to your site.
I personally would use these metrics as a minimum TF>25, DA/PA>35 -- and any sites that fall into that category, can be deemed as a safe backlink, with least instances of spam being built from behind.
If you are able to source for a hq provider, they should be able to meet the minimum, else, personally, sites that do not meet the minimum would either have already too many OBL, and the link juice is questionable as a whole.
Or you can try building some web2.0s to your site and control the in-out backlinks of these sites to make it safe for your money site.

It is very difficult to explain it in several sentences. You can start by googling it or search various related discussions about off page seo in BHW.

When you start learn it and do some test, I'm really sure you will have "own way" to do that.
