After trying various methods of making money online, I decided to go with website design and SEO services. I'm also going to put my MCSE to good use and do some contract work.....anyway, thats long term when I'm able to work for myself.

In the past week I've been able to gain 1 signed up and 2 potential customers. My business plan means that when I get 100 customers I can give my notice into my current job. I'm hoping to do this within 12 months.

I'm currently working on the first website for the customer, and need to start thinking about where to host it. I obviously want to give the customer CPanl access, but I'd like it to look like my Cpanel (i.e customize it).

My customers are buying the website design and host from me.

Can anyone suggest which hosts are good to go with, I'm considering host-gator, but I've no idea which plan I should be choosing. It looks like Aluminium would be the best option, but I'm unsure.

Any advice at this early stage of my business would be greatly appreciated.

First all the very best for your new business.
I am an MCSE holder too but not in to that works nowadays. You can get good freelance Sys.admin jobs in ODesk.
Regarding webdesign orders post your profile in Elance,ODesk.Show big there spend more time creating your profile. I am sure you will get few proposals.

Sign up for a affiliate there at hostgator pay $0.01 baby plan for the first month, sell the site with that baby plan. If the customer pays for the following 3 months you will get $50 per signup.Extra money on your packet.
    Good luck mate.

I have hosted a couple websites with hostgator and can say that I recommend them fully. Every time I had a problem, support was there to help me instantly. Live chat is a godsend!

Ya hostagator is by far the best hosting to use for this! I have never had a problem with them. Also I think BHW promotes hostagator ^_^

I recommend hostgator too, they're very stable for me, never had problems with service interruptions or support, and they're one of the most reputable hosting companies, if not the most reputable one.
