Starting my PPD Journey - Achieving Financial Security

Hi, here I am going to track my progress and share some things I have learned along the way. Today I am starting my PPD journey. I have just hit over a grand in profits total today from IM, mostly from ads but I have found that to be too unstable so I am trying out new methods. I have came up with a plan and I am going to give PPD a shot. I'll either stop when I make it comfortably or when I'm dead; hopefully it's the former :)

I am open to any tips and would love some advice from any veterans in this area, I've learnt quit a bit and am now doing the most important step: taking action!

Every week I will post a little summary of what method I did and how much I achieved, starting from today 4/18/2013. It's now 2:56am in my time zone and I began around 11pm 4/17. I will give away that it's through YouTube and has to do with viral news relating to celebrities.

I am using Cleanfiles as I saw some good reviews here on the boards but I am only just getting used to tweaking the settings. I would love to hear some ways to optimize campaigns if anyone that may be reading this may know of!


Day 1 stats so far:

Earnings: $7.38
Impressions: 529
Clicks: 58
EPC: $0.13
Downloads: 13


Total earnings (2 days): $40.90

Thanks, I appreciate it. Gonna go to bed in about 30 minutes but profits so far are $12.61, so in an hour and a half or so I'm up a few more bucks haha. Will update in the morning on my total earnings.
 
So your niche is celebrity news huh? If you can rank it on google, you're bound to get $100+ daily for a short amount of time.

ppd = pay per download

there are sites where you can upload file and when some one else downloads it you get paid avg 1$
but to download the file people have to complete a small survey

Went to bed at $14.55 profit, woke up today and it's 3:50pm here and so far my stats are:


Day 2:

Earnings: $9.28
Impressions: 691
Clicks: 70
EPC: $.013
Downloads: 13

Account Balance $23.83


So just under $25 in less than 20 hours. I'd say I'm off to a good start :) going to do some more research about PPD today on the forums and then try to optimize my campaign. I'm also going to create a blog with the cleanfiles widget and see if that helps conversions (currently I am just linking from YouTube to the download/offer through bit.ly) I feel that if I can make a decent landing page then the conversion rate will hopefully double at least.

Good luck mate. There are many more PPD journeys so you should read those threads too, maybe you can learn some great tips.

Thanks, I definitely will. I actually got the motivation to give it a go from reading one the other day actually, I just came up with my own twist and did the most important thing which is too take action.


For any newbies I can't stress this enough: You can research all you want and the knowledge will definitely help but you need to take action and learn firsthand to develop your own skills and come up with your strategy!

EPC: $0.14
Downloads: 19
Account Balance:$29.72

$30 in less than 2 days. not bat at all. going to scale it up today and take advantage of the opportunity as my niche may be a one hit wonder and might not be as popular in a few weeks
 
So far today I uploaded some more vids and created a landing page. It definitely needs some work but I think it may help conversions, I'm going to leave it on overnight then do a day without it tomorrow and compare the conversion rate then go from there. Today was a very good day due to a nice traffic increase and it's really starting to pick up - and it's technically not even over yet so I am quite excited to see the total when I wake up. Going to share my method in about 5 days so stay tuned

Nah, I have about 2million organic views on my other channels without any boosting or anything so i'm just using the same method to gain views and traffic. pretty much just good meta data and tags, i just tried boosting one video and it didnt help that much so im just aiming to do the "legitimate" way as it is more beneficial in the long run, in my oppinion. I did do some fake likes to make it look more like a legit video, but paying for a boost service wouldnt be worth it as the channels wont be up long. The main thing is just having appealing content and something that is wanted and searched for.

unfortunately my channel that i was getting traffic for ppd was banned already but I kind of saw it coming due to the volatility of the subject so I`m not too disappointed and it`s not too hard to replicate, so I`m taking a break then going back at it tomorrow
 
Started some new accounts and uploaded some videos to an older account I had that is related to the niche. Not doing as well as yesterday but I think once the videos pick up I'll be back up to over $30 a day/


Current profits (day 3):
All Time: $57.67

I've noticed that older accounts definitely seem to rank better than newer accounts so if anyone could refer me to a good source to buy aged verified accounts in bulk then I would be really grateful. I am going to look around to find a competitive price then really hammer this niche for all it's worth.
 
Current Cleanfiles profits at $81


Not feeling to well recently so I haven't done much at all but I got a $210 payment from adsense and a $70 payment pending from cleanfiles this month so I`m not doing too bad. Gonna try out some offline marketing later this week and learn some programming (if anyone could redirect me to some useful resources that would be awesome) then it's back on the grind.
