Hey everyone,

I recently decided to start playing piano again and I thought that
I might be able to use youtube as a means to generate another
stream of cashflow.

I figure if I record enough videos of myself playing popular enough
songs that I can eventually build a solid number of repeat viewers.
My goal is to ultimately have youtube provide me 200-500$ a month.

Anyone who has had experience in the field in the past and wouldn't mind
lend a little advice would be much appreciated =)

1. Invest in decent audio/video equipment e.g. camcorders, microphone etc. so that you make high quality videos
2. Make the covers very early when the song has just been released by an artist, even before it becomes popular or even before the album/music video is out, because there's a lot of competition among cover artists.
3. You can buy some initial views to give your video a boost, they go for about $5 for 5K views, and use the unlisted method. (NB: Always disable monetization for a video before buying views)
