Starting my list building journey.

Let me start this off by telling my story of failure.

A few months ago, I found the 40k/month method (LMAO) and absolutely bought it. Heck, I even thought I will be a millionaire in no time. I jumped in and it turned out to be a complete disaster, losing quite a bit in solo ads.

I was very desperate...

Fortunately, I met a guy whom I'd like to keep in secret. He actually showed me the gem in email marketing as well as how I got poisoned by the rotten ideas that would never work anymore. If you've been dreaming of having a list of responsive buyers, you would have heard of the common way people used to implement to build subscribers-guru relationship. It is giving away free stuff to hopefully get their trust in exchange.

Look, without face-to-face conversations, it's really really hard to get any far. I mean do you trust some fvking d!ckhead turns up from nowhere to offer you some sh!t? No right?

I learned from the guy that the trust is right in the products we offer, not our cold secrets or knowledge. You know those things are wildly cheap these days. What actually sells is our trick, or to sound academic: sale funnel.

I failed because my sale funnel was so painfully simple that subscribers could laugh at me...

"LOL What? Even this idiot can be a marketer? I'll never buy anything from this m0therfvcker. Hell no!"

See?

So I'm starting it over and this time I have been totally focusing on building my killer funnel. I will NOT offer them affiliate products right away. Instead, I'll sell my own product so I can build my credibility faster.

Just take a look at my funnel graph (attached image). I am confident that it is the way to build my list virtually for free, or even make profits.

As a start, yes only solo ads. As soon as I get a reasonable amount of non-buyer list, i'll do safe-swap.

Do you have any approximate budget and what's the number of subscribers you have in mind now?

Well, this is a tough one . I'm planning to not pay over $200 for each solo campaign which should bring me 300 premium clicks. However, my funnel is self-liquidating, so my investment should be recouped in short time, meaning I could sped a $200 over and over again. That's in theory. I'm sure sometimes it won't cover 100% the cost but it's what the business is. Number of subscribers? Honestly I have no idea. It depends on so many factors, including my squeeze page.

#UPDATE 1:
Just finished a solo ad deal today. The provider is a reliable guy who has got a lot of positive reviews on Solo Ads Testimonials (a Facebook group).
The campaign will start on October 8th, but he might deliver it earlier.

*finger crossed

In the mean time, I'll continue my freelance job to make sure money won't dry out.

#UPDATE 2:

What's up everybody? The solo ads just started yesterday and guess what, 72 uniques and 27 optins. That's a nice 37.50% so far. The most interesting thing is 1 sale already! So the funnel really works! Best day of my life.

Got an issue with the solo ads. After hitting 140 clicks, the traffic stopped streaming in. I have contacted with the provider to work this. He's not replied yet.


Even though I has got 3 upsales out of 54 subscribers, it kinda turns me off =.=

Solo ad cost: $129
Revenue: 3x$17 = $54 (not final)
