Hi everyone,
newly registered but have been reading this forum like crazy for a while. Thanks for all the great info you guys posted. Anyway I'll be starting my first journey. I'm not entirely new to IM, so far I ran and still run an online shop so I have some experience. Its a small, local operation that just isn't that good of a fit for me. I also worked SEO before so I'd like to think I have some understanding of it. I know most people try to convince everyone that they'll keep at it and wont stop yet still most do stop. I used to do this 9-5 and lets just say I figured I have to go in business for myself.
The goal is to run respectable sites in chosen niches and work to become authority or one of the authority sites in the niche. I'm not going to be pushing viagra or fake rolex, I happen to know a lot about the niches I'm entering so hopefully it'll show in the articles that I'll be writing. Will try to do the work myself without too much spamming. That's not to say I won't use a few tricks to get a leg up.
I'll be starting from scratch with no investment. Will see where I land. So here we go.
Step One
Get a site running. I started a blogger. The name is a combination of popular keywords and I also managed to make it kinda catchy. So it should be easy to remember. I disabled indexing until I get quality content up and running. As for monetizing I was thinking adsense, one or two affiliate programs and maybe later on direct ad sales, paid articles, etc. I'll also be starting YT account, Facebook fan page, Twitter account and Pinterest account.
Step Two
Write the content, create videos, etc.
Step Three
Get traffic, subimt to YT, pin, twitter, FB,...
Will update daily with a progress report.
Thanks everyone, this forum already helped me a lot.
