Starting IT Site Need Advice.

I'm trying to create a IT site with a very simple front-end where users can submit info in a form/ticket and then that info would be emailed to me immediately IE. One page, Very User-friendly with one big form where users can submit information to me via email. I want to use Wordpress for this. Can anyone suggest any themes or plug-ins that would be beneficial to me?

I've used "Contact Form 7" for WP form creation and found it very simple but flexible. In regards to the one page thing, if all you're interested in having on there is a form, have you considered simply using a modified default theme with an SEO plugin? I like All In One SEO Pack.
 
Yeah, either Contact Form 7 or one of the ticket systems built into Softaculous.
 
I'm a WP guy but for me using WP just to display a form is an overkill. You can make a more flexible form in HTML and integrate it tighter into a compelling design.
Otherwise beside cf7 there is also gravity forms that will allow you much more than a simple contact form
 
I agree, try using Contact Form 7 and add the Captcha image verification.

agree with you, use a html page and insert a php form which can send you the info through email. Much easier, using wp for this kind is overkill.
 
Contact form 7 is great, or you can use ***** forms which is also good and has way more options. there's a free & pay version

Gravity Forms!

I've used cForms and Contact Form 7 and a bunch of them... but I will never need to use another one after using Gravity Forms, as that is the best, easiest, and most powerful contact form plugin ever. Too many features and benefits to list here, and it is a premium (paid) plugin which also means much better support. Go check it out, I promise you'll love it!​
 
The Jetpack form is nice. However, the Contact Form 7 is alright. Be careful having both of this plugins installed at once. They could conflict.

make it simple and very user friendly. don't include unnecessary plugins and adons. just make it user-friendly. what's wrong with the form 7? In all of my sites I have used it. and its good.
