starting from 0 (translate)

I'm new to this and am following some advice I received, which is to focus on learning and gaining knowledge for now. I thought about learning a bit of programming; I have a basic understanding of design. Where should I start with programming and improve in design?

I would say start with something like Figma. Google “Figma community” and start copying (ahemm.. I mean be inspired) designs from there.

I would also suggest learning React.js, and Javascript in general. Yes you could learn something like python too but python is a backend language. For client side interaction you would need javascript anyway. If you follow this advice and learn for a year, I am sure you will be at a better position to learn further and possibly be a freelancer too.
