Hi there,

I've sold on eBay before on and off (about a year ago). Some good sales, but some negative feedback here and there as well. I just didn't put much time in it.

All this was a year ago and now I seriously want to get back to eBay. I've been researching products for months, have made the auction templates, and just registered as a business.

I just called eBay to ask whether I should open a new business acct or just change my existing private account to a business. I also asked them about my negative feedback on my three private accounts. (one is back to 100% as it's been over a year now). The guy basically said I didn't have was not a life long eBay ban but it was up to me to try and make a new business account and just try if I could sell. He didn't really know, if I could keep selling or get limited etc...

All this is quite frustrating. I figure I'll open a new business acct and just try and see if it's possible to sell (I assume yes). After building up feedback to 50 by buying postage/packaging items, can I just start to sell a dozen products a week? Unbranded cheap stuff <50 USD. Or do I take it ultra slowly?

Or can I use a friend to open an account on his details? Or a parent? (mom suggested it)
I don't want to screw this up as I'm very serious about making a good living on the Bay.
