Starting Coupon Site

I'm interested in starting a coupon site.

Anyone have any experience with these sites and can tell me if this is a profitable enough niche?

What are the best ways to get started getting coupons on the site? Is there a network i should look into?

Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated?
 
Advertise on BHW
Just buy Wordpress plugin, I think its like 30$ and it automatically edit's and submits the coupons all the time. Basically nothing to do for you, but you can handpick them too if you want.

after buying wordpress plugin, we need buy coupo site too....or wordpress will convert it automatically through plug-ins
 
You need a good capital to invest in advertising and if you are doing everything ok .. you can earn a lot from this kind of site :D

Yes I plan on this being a long term investment. I was hoping to drive traffic mainly through pinterest and facebook to start off and work on the seo long term.

I think it's up to the members of your coupon site to post it there. However you could go around looking for coupon codes and posting it manually.

Yes I will manually do that for now.

But I want to be able to have the processes in place to scale

Retailmenot has the bulk share of this niche. You'd need to offer unique coupons that are of higher desire, or acquire higher valued ones prior to others have, and do so on an on-going basis just to build reputability through social means.
 
Get ready for some of most fierce competition you can imagine.
