Starting an AI Model...

As the title suggests , i want to start an AI Model , Im not doing so good financially at the moment so i want to learn , but as i done my research i got more lost , i don't know where to start from , I have a good PC and i can generate locally (i think) , but i see that people suggest Ai's on the web but i don't have money to spare so if anyone has knowledge about this domain any help would be much appreciated , Thanks.

dont worry about spending money yet. Just start messing around with open source stuff like stable diffusion or gbt-j on your pc. Play, experiment, break things thats how you actually learn.

you can start with stable diffusion set up and download nswf models. You can find a lot of them free. 99% is rubbish, but i found some pretty good.

also you can run automations and llms localy

I think you can automate all using your pc with no need to pay for subscribtions.

You can begin by exploring free tutorials and open-source projects try small experiments on your machine and gradually build your understanding before worrying about costs.

Try searching on youtube. Yesterday I looked into how to create nsfw videos with the help of stable diffusion and wan.

to start a decent open source model, let's say the DeepSeek 32B model, you need to run a 24GB card. If you have it, you can start experimenting locally. If you just things to test out and see how it works you can probably do it with a 8B model or 16B model.

To stay low cost on this you also should have some good skills.

These open source models you can't just monetise them for free (there is a cost in that when it comes to monetisation).

Start installing a model on your pc and see how that works. I`m low skill in code and I succesfully made a dedicated server (installed linux server, no mouse) and managed to install a model and modify it as well. AI guidance and some forums/community reading help a lot.

Understanding the basics of training and tweaking models locally money isnt needed at the beginning, just curiosity and practice.
