Starting an Agency / Becoming a Freelancer

Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is a site which helps people who are starting out freelancing (SEO) or want to start their own "agency".
Something like Moz or Hubspot which has a great community / gives away templates, etc.

(I am not talking about how to sign up for freelance sites, or 1 long article about how to start an agency, but more of ongoing tips, templates, advice, etc.)

you can look at posting gigs on fiverr, look for jobs on up work. Even look here in the hire a freelancer post to start bringing jobs in.

These 3 places should be able to give you some jobs pretty fast if you are good at what you do.

- Proposals
- Acquiring clients
- Dealing with, managing, retaining clients
- who to partner with
- what services to offer
etc....

Does such a thing exist?

If you want to become a Freelancer then, there are many sites that are available on Internet. Some of these are

Guru

I've been a freelance developer for over ten years. It's a tough slog but the best thing I ever did was get a desk in a shared office. That way you instantly make contacts and clients and also get to see how an established business works.

Don't know where you're from but you often get business incubators run by universities which offer decent cheap desks in big spaces with other companies.

You might be looking for online clients rather than 'real world' clients but I always found real clients are worth more. Suppose it depends where you're from, but there is a lot of people selling very cheap services online.
