Starting Affiliate Marketing

Hey guys!

I am wanting to get into affiliate marketing. I will be using Clickbank to find a product, then will first of all be driving traffic through a social media account which relates to the product. If successful, I will then build a small website with Blogger, (like a landing page) and spend money on FB ads. This is very brief but does anyone have any tips for choosing a good affiliate product and niche and also selling it through social media (such as Instagram)
Any advice is immensely appreciated.
