Please I want to take a bold step this 2021.
I want to start a new YouTube channel for News. Please what do you recommend as the best free video editing software I can use to edit my videos.

And what is your advice on the SEO please I would like an honest reply from our experienced Brothers who have been in the this journey.

I use Sony Vegas PRO. Is it free? No. Did I pay for it? Also no. Very easy to learn and gets the job done.

I use the same, old version (Sony Vegas 13) and you can find a cracked version online.
However, DaVinci Resolve is a good free program.
Regarding SEO, be consistent with your keywords - use the same in title, tags and description but avoid keyword stuffing.
Use thumbnails and titles that are a bit clickbaity.
But most of all: don’t expect to be successful fast. YouTube is not a sprint, it’s a marathon.
 
News niche is very high competition. How do you plan to consistenly create your videos?
 
If you do not want to invest - DaVinci Resolve for video editing and Canva.com for thumbnails.

I personally use Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop for similar kind of things.

Then how do you manage to get it.
 
Get Camtasia, it's a really simple video editor, uploads direct to YouTube, does all your table of contents for you.
Get MS PowerPoint for thumbnails.

For SEO, it's about video retention, so make good videos that keep people watching. All about the quality. No hacks.

I thought about that also but I don't have good camera to start making cool live videos.

So that's why I opted for news because you can get then online.

Get some images online and pick out the head lines.

That's what I thought but I guess if am right
