Hi,

I am thinking of starting up a new WordPress site targeting long tail keywords. I've got some keywords in mind that i am looking at targeting but i would like some advice from some more experienced webmasters about what they look for before selecting keywords.

1) What tools do you use for your keyword research which gives you an indication of how hard it will be to rank for your keywords and gives you information on your competitors sites?

2) What's the typical monthly searches you look for before deciding weather or not to target a keyword?

3) How many keywords do you target per site? If you are writing articles targeting a particular keyword how many separate articles do you write for that keyword?

3) When you write articles for your site what sort of keyword density do you aim for per article and how long are you articles?

4) As i am thinking of starting a Wordpress site what are some good plugins to have installed for SEO? I was thinking Yoast but any other suggestions are welcome?

5) What sort of SEO packages are people using to help them with there rankings? I know a lot of people start PBN'S but if you can't afford that what other services are being used.

6) In terms of on page SEO do you fill out your own meta description for every post and do you stuff your keyword in your meta description?

Damn someone really wants to be spoon fed here.

Hi.

1) I use KWFinder to find long tail keywords. I don't give a shit about competition because I know I can outrank. If not content-alone then with links for sure.

2) Even 50 is fine. You will be getting 50 unique visitors a month (or so you should, approximately). It really depends on keyword's purpose. If keyword is buyer-intention then I will go for it for sure. I also love keywords with 1,000 searches or more.

3) 1 article - 1-5 keywords.

3) 2%

4) YOAST

5) Focus on content and writing articles for very long tail keywords until you accumulate traffic and sales and can afford buying packages. Or get a job so you can afford packages right a way. There are no free shit in this world anymore.

6) Yes.

Damn someone really wants to be spoon fed here.

Yes. It took me 3 minutes to respond. Now my post might get tons of likes, my ego is satisfied for the day. Thanks! HHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
