Has anyone had any luck taking content off a website that seems to be perpetually in Google's sandbox and repurposing it on a brand new domain?

I've got an aged e-commerce site with a bunch of other functionality/pages/etc. and feel like Google gives me crap traffic despite a number of quality backlinks. No manual actions or other issues.

Just thinking about curating the better items and putting them on a separate Woocommerce site (or the like). Any thoughts?

Look, content is still the king, even the ai content if you can rank ai content. Keep adding quality content, rank for a few keywords and then start linkbuilding campaign.
Rule of thumb - no traffic lots of backlink - red flag.
Lots of traffic no backlink - redflag.

Thanks for the advice. So, back to the basics, I guess.
