After a couple of years selling links, I've just decided to develop an offline business using the 7878 method (. So I will note all the news I have from this journey. I decided to focus not on only 1 or 2 businesses but to target businesses such as restaurants, hotels or other niches. I'm in a big city so there is quite a lot of possibilities here. I will try different methods and post the results for each method. To do : - Create the company (I know should have been the first thing but I can use another company I own for now) - Send letters - Cold-Call the businesses - Print business cards Done : - Build a website to present the different services (almost done in fact) - Write different types of letters depending on the business - Send around 10 emails - Print some letters - Buy a new phone plan News : - Two days ago, I just wanted to try to send some mails to some restaurants. So I first sent one email and got an a call one hour later. . Didn't answer (cause I didn't have the phone with me :/ ). The guy sent me an email to ask me to call him back. That's a big restaurant (making +500k? profit each year). I called him back today and set up a meeting for the 27th of January (cause won't be there next week). It wasn't that easy because he didn't want to lose time so it's already a good news to have this meeting. But he didn't mention prices at any time ; so I don't know if it's because he's not that interested or because the price is not his principal issue. Questions : I still have some questions in order to prepare this meeting. 1)I still have one question about the different options that would justify the different offers. I have some ideas of things that could be options but that's not perfectly clear. What would basically be the main differences between the 3/4 different offers and that could justify the different prices? 2) Instead of proposing 3 offers (and I understood the interest of proposing different offers), I wonder whether it wouldn't be better to propose a basic offer with different upsells ? Also, would you first propose the most expensive offer and then talk about the 2 other offers ( I assume it may increase the number of subscriptions but may also increase the proportion of the cheap offer compared to the expensive offer) ? Or do the exact oposite ( I think it may increase the number of subscriptions for the most expensive offer but may lower the total number of subscriptions) ? That will certainly be one of my different tests but if you have some thoughts about that, I'm open-minded. For now, I have only sent emails and I don't think I will send the letters before February. I will cold-call the different restaurants next week. So I'll have to work quite a lot next week to be perfectly ready for my next meeting. To be continued. NB : I'm not a native English, so please don't blame me if I do some mistakes.
