Hello everyone,

I am looking to start a blog, but i don't really know where to start. I'm a very good writer with 1000s of articles written over the years so the content of the blog won't be a problem. My questions are: where to start, how do i find a good keyword, etc. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Buy your own domain name and some hosting, install wordpress and start posting away.

As for finding kw's you'll have to do some research by reading up on this forum, but I'd initially suggest you have a look at google trends or look at social media for what people are looking for.

You can use Google Keyword Planner tool, it's free. Try to find low competition keywords and start to do SEO (On Page and Off Page) or hire someone (BHW marketplace). Read these articles: Onpage SEO Guide, SEO guide, OnPage Ranking Factors.

Believe it or not, but I've been thinking to make this my first project too.
Good luck with your blog OP.

Also, what if one builds a decent blog and makes good use of SEO... Then what is the best way to earn some decent money with it?
I know there are multiple ways, but (being a newbie) I've always thought affiliate marketing would be the best way, like Clickbank for instance.
Any thoughts or tips on this?

Find a keyword of your and only your interest. What are you good at, then you only need the other thing, learn and make your knowledge into practical, practice differently for awesome results. Best of luck

Find a niche you are interested to write about and then you can check good keywords in that niche using adwords or google trends

First find out what niche to start with and what methods to use to generate money

Get a domain name , get a hosting, and start a wordpress blog ! All set and go
