Choose a clear topic you love and know well, then create helpful, high-quality content regularly. also, promote your posts on social media and build an email list to grow readers.

To start a blog you should follow steps below
1. Niche research (To research a profitable niche you can check Google Trends)
2. Make a kw database (minimum 1500-200 kw)
3. Publish 20 content and request for indexing
4. Try to publish daily 1-2 new blog post
5. Do proper internal linking
6. Maintain on-page SEO properly.
7. Now check search console and collect new kw
8. If you already publish content with those kw, then optimize content
9. If didnt publish, Publish new content by search console kw
10. Try to update meta title & indexing.

First make proper plan for the blog. Like who will be target audience, how to keep them engaged with content.

Then chose good a niche and set up any cms you like wordpress etc and go with 1-5 blogs per month only
